Our own treatment plant
Anaerobic and aerobic processes in sequence, removing over 90% of contaminants. Treated effluents leave highly purified, preserving the water quality of the Paraibuna river.
100% renewable thermal energy
The furnace runs on certified biomass. Part of the fuel comes from recycling the digestive tract contents of the cattle, segregated and dehydrated before combustion.
Gas treatment
Combustion gases pass through a high-efficiency hydro-venturi scrubber, and emissions leave within environmental legislation limits.
Waste centre recycling over 90%
Every waste is controlled from the source, segregated, weighed and classified at the CATRI centre. Of every 1,000 kg generated, 900 kg return to the market as useful products.
